Zeyad and The Kid are the two Iraqi bloggers who I trust the most. The Kid has really evolved since he first started; he used to talk mostly about rock and roll and girls he liked, but with everything that has happened in Iraq, including the deaths of his friends, it's like he grew up over night, and understands that he has a very important job of describing what is going on there.

In case some of you haven't followed this, I have been reading Zeyad for several years now, and The Kid since he started blogging in July 2005. It's only over time that I came to trust their posts, when they were proven right over and over again. Neither of them are anti-American; both of them supported the war to topple Saddam, and now both have changed their minds because America f***ed it up so bad. They blame the Iraqi government, too.
