The poll of who has the best Iraq plan shows how people's personal feelings on who they want for '08 is coloring their ability to recognize who will get our troops out and who is being wishy washy. I commented as much.

I don't recall a Gore plan with details nor one from Clark although Clark has made his suggestion available for discussion. VP Gore I would think, would have the media attention to really provide a detailed plan. I realize it isn't his job, but if he is going to speak about it and criticize it, he should have some sort of solution.
As a matter of fact, has either one of these two fine men been asked to speak with the Baker Commission and relay THEIR ideas for Iraq? Lets face facts here, Senator Kerry's amendment was thought enough of and his concern over the situation in Iraqi well recognized that he was asked to share his thoughts with the commission. There is a certain amount of respect and recognition that comes with this appearance before the committee.
I was thrilled when I heard he had appeared.
