But, for me, one of the best things was seeing all the people who have posted here and at the JK blog in one place together. As I said to several people there, it was like seeing a DU JK thread come to life! Someday, I hope to see all of you gathered with the Kerrys. The feeling of all that passion and hope and intelligence collected in one place is deeply powerful.

I was just about speechless. The second time I met him and I still could do nothing more than mutter my name. Damn it, happens all the time. So much I wanted to thank him for and all that came out was some mangled version of my name.
Teresa is a darling and so warm and friendly. Of course, so is the Senator. I could of stood there and listened to both of them all night long.
It was so kind of them to take the time to meet with us all. So gracious and thoughtful.

My first time, too. And they walked through the doors and I very nearly burst into tears...it just meant THAT much to me. The only thing that rescued me is the thought of meeting them for the first time with raccoon eyes from smeary eyeliner and mascara. That's a thought powerful enough to shut off the waterworks! :D

Very, very incredible, gracious, amazing people they are.

And so are every single one of you as well.
