Kerry battles former state GOP strategist over Obama-McCain qualifications
This article left me totally confused and :banghead:

Was that a real event where these two people met and in this case, why would Kerry debate Tennant? The article is really lacking in details, so I am left wondering if this newspaper invented an event or if this event really took place?

1. Tennant is countering what Sen. Kerry said about Sn. McCain
He is a former chair of the MA GOP and former Congressional candidate. Sen. Kerry went on the news and backed Sen. Obama's views of the situation in Iraq and Obama's views on foreign policy. The Massachusetts GOP spokesman is saying that Sen. Kerry is wrong, that John McCain has a legitimate view and stronger view on Iraq and foreign policy.

Ah, the MA GOP disagrees with Sen. Kerry. No news there, it would be news if they didn't differ with him.
