I'm not awake enough yet to deal with this, and you're probably not either, but I'm going to post it anyway. Boggles the mind.

On 4/16, I saw a C-SPAN broadcast of a 4/4 Heritage Foundation event (do not have transcript - took notes) where Corsi, was pimping his newly released book, "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians" and the website http://www.iranfree.org. The presentation left my jaw hanging. Here's the argument: Kerry is working for Iran along with Hillary, Kennedy & Biden to provide them with nuclear techology for supposedly peaceful purposes. Iran's operatives will use the technology to explode a nuclear device in NYC & Tel Aviv. We have until June to resolve this peacefully and if we cannot, we must use force. Remember, Seymour Hersh reported Iran is the next target.

It did not shock me that he employed the the "tried and true" approach that worked for the run up tp the Iraq war: Iran's unaccountable, lavish-lifestyled Mullahs terrorize & torture their own people, and 80-90% of the people of Iran do not support the state and want to be relased from its yoke (like them federal judges)

Watch the already crazy rhetoric to get worse towards June as we may see Bolton press the United Nations on Iran...It will be a long hot sickening summer... take frequent showers.

1. Yeah, I saw that a while ago

Since the election is now over, Corsi is not really getting much press. And his book is not selling. (Well certain groups are making bulk purchases, but individual sales are crappy.) The guy is a joke. I really hope that he tries to run against Kerry. It will be fun destroying him utterly.

Don't take it too seriously. The tin-foil hat brigade on the right believes this, but the GOP is not in the same position they were 3 years ago. Times have changed and the American people are starting to see through the blatant lies of the right. Corsi is a sick joke, but don't give him too much credence. Let him fade back under his slimey rock where he belongs.

2. The tech guy was here

putting some new software on my computer, so I had to cut my post short. I apologize.

What really bothered me was the way this lines up with the Bolton nomination. There was a really disturbing conversation between Randi Rhodes and Scott Ritter a week or so ago, concerning the necessity of having Bolton in place at the UN in order to cook the intel on Iran in time for a June invasion.

It sounds like they may be trying for 2 birds with one stone. To disable 4 potential opponents to attacking Iran, while using character assignation on 3 potential 2008 Democrats, with Kennedy thrown in for good measure.

These people are evil. I hope that fact that over half the US now (finally, and too late) believe that the Republicans LIED on Iraq will cause them to trust Kerry (who did not lie) and the others. I hope they will fight using force.

How do they explain why Kerry doesn't care that his oldest daughter lives in NYC or that Hillary and her entire family live in or close to NYC? Why is this lunatic (Corsi) able to get any press at all with these inflammatory charges?

but claiming that all 4 of them do is pretty far fetched. (I guess we have comparable lunatics on our side that claim Bush planned 911)

I try to keep the perspective of the general public when I can. Because that's what matters in the end. Let this guy get on record for a whole list of looney statements, and then they can trot them back out again if/when he tries to take Kerry's senate seat!

5. Excellent questions.

I tend to think that we just need to keep making a big noisy fuss about this so at least it can't slip by under the radar, which is what I assume they're hoping for.

That said, it really does appear (if you look at the poll numbers, anyway) that the people are waking up to the idea that they've been HAD. I don't really think they'll get away with starting two wars by hyping intel. I just want to do everything I can to be sure they can't.
