Why does it appear that John Kerry is giving Bush a pass on
his mishandling of Hurricane Katrina? I just don't get it. I'm so angry that Bush won the election by portraying himself as the Security President and it turns out(as I suspected) this was just all talk. Meanwhile, Hillary is out there talking tough. Kerry has earned the right to call out Bush on this safety/security issue.
My respect for John Kerry is not diminished by this, but I'm sure others wonder why he has been silent.

It seems that he has given interviews yesterday. Not surprisingly, nobody has reported them, but the quote in the NYTimes is as agressive as any other.

But until this quote, I was wondering the same thing.

2. Thanks! I saw it after I posted.
And as usual Kerry remarks don't make print. How come Edward's is mentioned before Kerry? Maybe, we need to contact the media outlets and suggest that more John Kerry coverage would d be appreciated.

Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the Democratic presidential candidate in 2004, said in an interview: ``It's a summary of all that this administration is not in touch with and has faked and ducked and bobbed over the past four years. What you see here is a harvest of four years of complete avoidance of real problem solving and real governance in favor of spin and ideology.''
