Filled with disinformation and outright lies. It would be right at home in FreeRepublic. Why does DU allow this sort of thing? I don't understand.

It always seems calculated to me somehow. The timing is often suspicious. I wonder if someone is trying to keep Kerry marginalized as much as possible.

3. I've been noticing posters below the 1,000 mark...

...with a very negative, divisive tone in a lot of the threads. I can't help wondering if this is someone attempting to stir up problems here. Granted, some of the long-time posters fight like cats and dogs, and the lines are drawn, but I'm still suspicious about all these recent arrivals who take this particular tone (and not just about Kerry, either).

I was like excuse me but Kerry did not vote for Defense of Marriage Act, of course they were too full of themselves to admit they were wrong. Kerry could end war hunger, and they'd complain that he did it wrong or was cocky doing it, or if he did it bipartisanly, they would complain abotu that.

24. I learned to quit arguing with them.

I have done that on several threads now. It has worked in most cases to the effect the either shut up the bashing or leave the thread. But those people are like talking to block walls. That paticular thread just had a major Kerry hater in it that was arguing with anything and anyone. That is why it went on as long as it did. But it beats arguing with them and I piss the basher off just as much as they pissed me off for telling their bullshit lies and nasty ass remarks they make about Kerry. Only do it without arguing and actually have fun doing it now. If they are not lying and making nasty remarks I leave it alone. Because they have a right to support another candidate but they need to lay the hell off Kerry. Stop the damn lies and nasty ass remarks.
