Would Gore support the Kerry/Feingold amendment?
Edited on Sun Jun-25-06 09:36 PM by politicasista
I know he has been in the news a lot, but should he be considered a spokesman for Iraq? I have heard him talk about withdraw, but it's kind of confusing where he stands, considering those who have said he was against the war from the start and claim he is a stronger candiate/spokesman than those in charge right now.

I like Gore, but I am tired of people dumping or undermining Kerry while promoting him and/or other candidates. The main thing is we all want the troops out of Iraq and home now.

3. last i heard he disagrees with Kerry
based on that Larry King or some other appearance.

i'm not sure how much it matters though. the ones who continue to use Gore and others to bash Kerry are assholes. especially since Gore isn't really saying much on this and Kerry is.

he disagrees with JK, but at the same time they argue that he wants out is a "stronger" spokesperson on Iraq. I agree they are using this just to slam Kerry anyway. That's their problem.

5. I agree
On Larry King, he had a relatively vague comment - though he did say he was against a deadline. So he would likely have voted for the Levin one only - EXCEPT if he were in the Senate, Kerry and Feingold would certainly have made an effort to change his mind.

More annoying on the DU-P, one poster said that not only would he have voted for it but it might have been Gore/Kerry or Gore/Feingold - which ignores how much of it is pure Kerry.

6. shows how many are just looking to bash Kerry
some others said the Kerry/Feingold is divisive and it's Kerry's fault since Feingold was willing to compromise and Kerry wasn't.

of course if it was the other way around you would see numerous posts and threads about how Kerry wanted to sell out Feingold. and Feingold was standing alone.

what i hate about it all is it's just so dishonest. if you don't support Kerry for another run than don't support him. but what's with the need to undermine and lie and mislead about everything.
