Every do often, I try cutting back on one of my meds-
it's usually because I'm running out and dont want to make a trip to the pharmacy until the end of the week or something.

Things will be going along fine, and I'm thinking to myself that I don't really need that high a dose of whatever......

then I realize that I've been scarfing up carbs even though I know I'm not hungry.

For me at least, the slightest drop in seratonin generates a craving for carbs.

2. I think it is very common to cut back once in a while
either for financial purposes, or just to experiment.

3. I used to do that with my anti-depressents and it was always a mistake in my case.
Without insurance, it's a tempting way to save a few dollars but it never has worked for me.

Now the minor tranq I take for anxiety has been cut back a lot over the years. I was put on these drugs when they were still in clinical trials. Today I take 1/7 of what was prescribed for me in 1983 with the same benefit. That's cool. :)
