Sunrise over Turnagain Arm
Edited on Sat Dec-17-05 04:06 AM by Blue_In_AK
We had a little break in the clouds the other day so we headed out of town a few miles and caught the sunrise before the clouds moved in again. This was at 10:19 a.m. looking almost due south, for a little perspective on what the light's like up here this time of year.

A little different view

3. Couple more great pics
Blue. Have you had a chance to get one for that gift? Either of these would look great. You ought to try sending some to AK tourism board, your pics are so beautiful.

5. Sunrise at 10:00am?
You really need to start exposing your photographs to different venues. Not that I want to you leave this place...... you're stuck here... :) Don't ever leave.

Submit to National Parks sites. Try a couple of the fancy dancy "pro" :eyes: sites online and upload a few to get exposure and comments.

6. Yeah, 10 a.m. That's how it is this time of year.
Sunrise around 10:20 and sunset 3:30 or so. It'll start moving back the other direction in a couple of days though, and the SAD hasn't hit me this year, although I am kind of sick of all these clouds. We haven't had a consistently sunny day since before the camera came -- Murphy's Law?

Do you really think the photos are that good? It would be kind of cool to make a little money off them...I would love nothing more than to make my living taking pictures rather than pounding the keyboard all day.

7. Yes
Do you really think the photos are that good?

Don't have time right now to go through some stuff with you. But Landscape sells. Have to go do something right now. Maybe later tonight.
:hi:
