Question about 35mm film camera repair

I have two Canon A-1 bodies, both with MA motors. I've used them primarily for photojournalism over the years, and as a consequence they're pretty beaten up. Awhile back I thought I'd scavenge parts from both to make one well-working body but I discovered I was in a bit over my head.

I just did a search for "film camera repair" and found this site: http://abilenecamera.com/#Menu%20classic

Has anyone heard of these guys? They sound almost too good to be true.

TIA for any information, including referrals to other repair services.

3. They get good references, but I don;t know

why they don't have Nikon F3 series... maybe they are still too valuable for this sort of service.
