After the Rain
Out doing some errands in the neighborhood the other day, and fortunately had both an umbrella and a camera with me. First there was a thunderstorm, then came the hail. 20 minutes later, the clouds began to break up and a brilliant afternoon sun reflected off the wet pavements. So I took these.

2. Very kewl

I especially like (counting fingers....) the last two. I like it when reflections become part of the photograph; .... not just "a reflection".

3. I like these pictures, JeffR...
Did you shoot them in color and then convert to black and white, or are they B&W all the way? I especially like the third one.

4. Thanks all
Shoulda mentioned up front that these were shot in color and converted to b/w in Photoshop. The first three then had varying degrees of the 'Hollywood' filter from Virtual Photographer applied.

Someone talked recently on this forum about these free filters. Since I downloaded them I've tried them on dozens of pics. Some - not all! - of the presets are great, and they all allow for a range of tweaking and customizing.

Recommended for any Photoshop users out there.

5. I love that third shot best of all, Jeff.
But then, I've always had a thing for both reflection photography and train tracks, so I suppose it's a no-brainer I'd love that shot most of all. :)
