Been working on my composition
I think I'm getting better. Of course, it doesn't hurt having a subject like this:

what type of camera and lense did you use?
I'm a total amature but I am saving for a
decent camera now and still not sure which
way to go.

2. Nikon D90 with the 18-105 mm lens that comes with it
Edited on Fri Oct-10-08 04:18 AM by Blecht
I got it when it first game out -- but Costco just started selling it if you're a member there: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11311439&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=〈=en-US&s=1

One big plus of buying it at Costco is that you can return it, no questions asked, within 90 days if you decide you don't want it, and they automatically double the manufacturers warranty.

On Edit: I think it looks so good not so much because of the camera -- the lighting was perfect when I captured that shot.

I have some more I took under the bridge -- reflections -- that I will post when I have the chance.

3. Blecht, that's beautiful!
The reds are eye-popping! And how considerate of that jogger to wear purple to add extra zing to the shot! :) Where is this?

6. I love the lines, the rust, the color in the apts
in the background. The rivets and rust also lend itself to some nice textures. My only nit would be to remove the people. ;)

7. Stunning!
I love the tree line in the background, it's so unexpected with the rust dusted graffitied bridge. And the reflections on the still water...just beautiful. I love Oregon...
