7. I've posted these previously, although pre-processing.

Can't enter in the contest. I was just looking through my files to see if I had anything to enter and realized how much I liked these. So for a very sparse shooting year, these rank As my favorites.

5. those are two really great shots!

I photographed the Amgen Tour in Valley Center, CA. I can appreciate the difficulty in getting those shots -- the window of opportunity is very limited! They go so incredibly fast and the wind of the peloton nearly knocks you over! I like to zoom in for detail shots which is nearly impossible. I was lucky becuase the riders came and went where I was so I got two chances to shoot. Unlike you, I had a perfect overcast day for shooting; I love how you made the rain work for you instead of against you! Nice work NV Whino!
