Summer is here, come play with us


and we did


we rented rafts


and took off for a ride


we got our tubes


and floated away


we kayaked


we fished


we played


we ate


we laughed


and at the end of the day...the river went quiet, and we went home.

We NEVER get temperatures warm enough to go shirtless -- and you wouldn't want to with all the mosquitoes. My Texas husband would approve of the "Hook 'em, Horns" shirt.

Love the Guadalupe! That day looks like awesome fun.

I actually went to a camp on the Guadalupe for a couple of years, and swam in the river every day. There wasn't a swimming pool--just ropes in the river for shallow, deep, etc.
