Seemed like an easy winner from the second it was posted. Well, until Lonely Hearts, which I liked a lot too, but just not as much as those two old "Crazy Hearts".

6. I knew that would win from the first time I

saw it though Saphire's was just as gripping and technically good. That couple breaks the rules on people. You don't know who they are so you aren't drawn to it just because of who it is yet you can write a whole life story for them in your mind with in seconds of looking at it. Saphire, loved yours too though you had the sadness of it that worked against you in votes though you should take comfort in that you get to enjoy the next contest and not host it. I would be one of those people that feel second is the real winner. Voting by the general population is fickle so I feel lucky if a photo I think might win, does win.

So Mira, is it time to finally do "stairs"? :evilgrin:

10. AGAIN: a humble thanks to all of you. And

when it comes to "Stairs" (I even had a PM asking about it)
that's pretty funny. Do you really think I would chose my very favorite desired subject when I'm hosting and can't enter?

Or do you think I will quietly keep collecting stair photos for the time it finally wins in a poll, and then come out roaring with a private and painful: "please help me chose" botheration?

Time will tell.
Right now we all breathe easy for a few days, and enjoy the forum and pray for a plug in the leak, and may manna and medical supplies drop onto Palestine.

As you can see I'm a bit maudlin this morning, my eyes are only half open and my five house guests have moved on.
