1. Very nice.
Those reflections are great. Two for the price of one.

8. thank you
My fave is the one where you can see the mud bottom of the lake through the reflection. I thought that was pretty cool.

2. What a lucky day for you!
Is that just the cutest little guy or what!!! I love the reflections and the expression on its face in the second shot is terrific!

7. If you look kinda close
there is a fish in the mouth in that one. But the fish was wiggling so much that you can't tell that really. This was pretty early in the morning so these shots were in the shade. I actually took a lot of pictures of this one bird, and several after catching a fish. It's fun to try to get those, but the action can be a bit fast, so they don't always turn out. This one was the best of those. I wondered if people would be able to tell.

6. the reflections in these make the photo
I doubt if I would have posted them if they hadn't "reflected well."

4. We're always looking for something else, aren't we?
Still, as long as there is something to "settle for", it's worth the effort.

5. that is what makes it fun
Plus it is a very good metaphor for life in general--no expectations! The last time I went that exact same route-no green herons.

9. Just beautiful!
I love them all, but especially the last one. The second one makes it look like he/she is looking at him/herself in the water which I think makes it most amusing and fun.

:hi:

10. thank you
Actually holding a moving fish by the tail in that one, but the photo doesn't really show that, because the fish is struggling so hard. Oh, the heron won that one for sure.
