Portrait in Progress

[My Good Babushka]

Here is a portrait I've been working on. I'm really excited about it. The client chose all of the additional accoutrements, the theme, and supplies a picture of her cat that she wanted in the portrait. It's really really fun to work on. I would love to do a similar portrait again, or even a portrait for a couple. I think it would be an awesome wedding/anniversary type gift. Well, enough of the sales pitch, see for yourself.





And yeah, the damask wallpaper was a torture. But the results are well worth it.

1. Wow...that's amazing.

Can't wait to see the finished piece. Even drawing that wallpaper looks annoying. I can't imagine painting it (I can't use colors to save my life).

This reminds me of my aunt's paintings and she's had stuff in a bunch of museums...so you're doing something right. :)
