Daily Exercise Thread - 2/7/05
I'm back!

I did The Firm this morning and feel great! I think I need a couple of others to rotate around.

What do you think of the new requirement that we need 60-90 minutes of exercies most days?

I find it very hard, but I will try. Maybe cardio/strength in the am and leisurely walking in the PM.

1. Today's my off-day
Did my 'push' routine yesterday and benched 365! First rep correctly, second rep cheated a bit, and third rep needed help. That's more than I've ever been able to bench.

I think 60-90 minutes of exercise is about perfect. You don't "need" it but it will enhance your life and health. Exercising twice a day is better than trying to cram it in all at once - I do my cardio in the am and strength training in the evenings.

6. Monday, as you may recall, is arm day
My favorite. Today, I enjoyed super slow/negatives on the OH rope pulley, totally maxed out on the weight. They gotta give me more plates! Did 3 full sets of drop sets with the EZ curl bar seated at the preacher curl. I also combined a super slow/negative/stop negative on the dumbell curls. Not for the faint of heart. Then, it was on to 20 mins on the elliptical, Level 3, 80 RPM avg.

Tomorrow...shoulders/delts. That Hammer Strength shrug machine was mocking me today. Tomorrow, it pays.
