Thomas is the nitty-gritty, of course. It's run by the Library of Congress and is up to date. As a library reference provider, I have some problems with it, but eventually I can always manage to get the goods.

It can be found here:

http://thomas.loc.gov/

Any other good links out there? Activism sites you recommend?

1. Here's another site with similar info as the Thomas one
GPO Access

GPO Access contains all published versions of bills from the 103rd (1993-1994) Congress forward. The 109th Congress database is updated by 6 a.m. (EST) daily when bills are published and approved for release. The documents in these databases are available as ASCII text and Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

2. We should have a special section for
ridiculous, troubling Republican bills. Even if there is no chance they will pass, we should out any nutty Republican proposals.

3. Legislative Advocacy for Breast Cancer
and all health care issues from one of the most influential grassroots health care lobbying groups on the Hill:

http://www.stopbreastcancer.org/

Check out their fact sheets and position papers for some very good health care and research policy.
