Most of them don't even know who Elton John is. "Isn't he that guy who did that Lion King song?" They have no idea the strides this guy made for GLBT. It's just mindblowing the GOOD, PROGRESSIVE people they'll attack if they think it'll score Obama some cheap points.

One of my close friends just told me, "If they're at the point that they're attacking Elton John, I no longer care about DU." And this is a LONG TIME DUer.

It's just pitiful, how malleable their integrity is.

I was talking to two Obama supporters yesterday who who once big time Paul Krugman fans until Krugman started saying in his last several NY Times columns that Obama's economic plans suck and he prefers HRC's economic plans.
