I committed to Obama very early on (sponsored the DU Obama Group), as did another of our immediate family of four; the other two of us were strongly for Hillary. So as I posted articles on both sides, I was posting for DUers as well as for my family and friends (who read my Journal) on both sides. As the campaign went on, the press coverage of Hillary made me angrier and angrier and angrier. At the same time, my admiration for her as a candidate grew. So I was, both in my head and in my heart, personally "riding the line" -- that is, while I still supported Obama, I was emotionally invested in both candidates.
And I really sympathized with you here, Hillary's supporters on the board. There was, of course, enmity on both sides, but you were badly outnumbered. As Skinner said, however, you fought like Hillary did and never gave up. My hat's off to you.
We received this video in an e-mail because DeepModem Dad is a Clinton contributor. I thought it was lovely, and wanted to share it.
