Has anyone here actually tried Nutrisystem?
If so, what do you think? I'd like to lose about 30 lbs, and have tried to do it on my own, to no avail. I'm vegetarian, and Nutrisystem is the only veg plan I can find. I'm at the point of trying one of these plans where you eat their food. But wondered if any here have thoughts.

TIA!

1. I am debating Nutrisystem and Jenny Craig.
I have to lose about 40 pounds and am tired of trying on my own. Jenny Craig has great support but friends swear by Nutrisystem. I am going to discuss with my Rheumatologist since I have autoimmune dysfuction.

2. I lost over fifty pounds on Nutrisystem
It's easy but you do need to purchase fresh food and dairy. There is no magic to their plan. It is essentially a low calorie, low fat diet. If you don't mind processed foods it's not a bad plan. I basically discontinued because I learned how to eat small balanced meals 6 to 8 times a day. I also became uncomfortable with the degree of artificial ingredients in their products. You can essentially design your own nutri system like diet with food you make at home or even with frozen meals you can get at the grocery store. Once you learn what to eat it becomes second nature. Try it for a month and check out their discussion forum.

4. Wow - 50 pounds.
My knees have been killing me from a weight gain because of two surgeries, arthritis, and calcium deficiencies and all that stuff. I normally weigh 125 and have ballooned to 155#. Ugg-a-bug -it really sucks getting old.
