1. Another Season, another poor finish for me. My Picks:
Miami over Pittsburgh
Seattle over Detroit (this ain't gonna be pretty)
Philadelphia over Houston
NY Jets over Tennessee (and whoever is QBing the Titans)
Cleveland over New Orleans (Cleveland is gonna have a good year)
Denver over St. Louis
Cincinnati over Kansas City (The Bengals, my pick to oust the Colts from the playoffs this year)
New England over Buffalo
Tampa Bay over Baltimore (Not sold on Simms yet)
Atlanta over Carolina (unless Smith plays, but I'll stick with Atlanta)
Chicago over Green Bay (Why did you come back Brett)
Arizona over San Francisco (The week's Craptacular)
Dallas over Jacksonville
Indianapolis over NY Giants (I'll be there, give us a good show Manning Bros)
Washington over Minnesota (The NFC east is going to be a bear this year)
San Diego over Oakland - (The chargers have the easiest schedule in the NFL)

17. Funny thing this week...
ordinarily picking all home teams will get you better than 50%. But this week, what was it, 11 road victories? I remember lining up my picks and thinking, "Gosh, that seems like too many road team victories I'm predicting." Well it wasn't, I just picked the WRONG stupid road teams to win. hehe.

8. Well, I see that Culpepper is playing for Miami...
just like he did for my Vikes. An amazing throw here or there, makes you think you can win the game, and then some bone-headed throws that lose it for you in the end. Interesting to see the NFL is picking up right where it left off last year - with some questionable officiating benefiting the Steelers.

9. That is EXACTLY what I hated
about Culpepper and why I like Johnson so much--Johnson is steady. You know what you are going to get with him. (Plus, the best sign ever on a football broadcast was "If you liked our Moon, you'll love our Johnson.")
