9/11 gave Bush legitimacy
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 07:08 AM by ck4829
Before 9/11:

People were questioning whether or not he was legitimately the President

We had Congress

He was incredibly unpopular

I don't want to be a LIHOP/MIHOP type of person any more. I'm just going to make "Seems a little... Convenient!" my catch phrase when it comes to 9/11 from now on.

1. 9/11 gave him power to claim legitimacy
They needed 9/11 to allow them to run their agenda with little opposition and so far it has worked.

2. What did Germany have that made every other nation a
"threat".

3. Nothing, nothing, nothing will ever give bush** the right to claim that
he was/is the legitimate president of the United States.

He took over in a tacky sort of coup. Bloodless, but otherwise not unlike some banana republic takeover.

9/11 just underscored his unfitness for the job.

7. True, but it is his only claim to legitimacy
ask most Bushbots why they support Bush so much, and within the first few sentences they will mention 9/11 at least twice.

4. Among those who know, it makes him a pariah
What really caused 9/11 is the last thing the MSM reveals before Dubya gets the boot.

5. IMO 911 proved beyond doubt that he was not legitimate.
Had he not been sitting around with his thumb up his ass in Crawford, had he not ignored the many warnings received, had he not found brush clearing' to be more important then national security , had he listened to the advisers who were telling him that Al Qaeda was the biggest threat to our nation, 9/11/2001 may have been just another boring fall day (assuming that LIHOP/MIHOP isn't true).

6. It was temporary... his 90% approval rating shortly after 9/11...
...melted pretty fast.

8. The only winners of 9-11 were BushCo and war related businesses.
