To those who claim the Democrats don't stand for anything
Being that the Bush administration's policies, stated and covert, are the greatest threat this country has faced in decades, opposing them is de facto the most important cause our party can represent. What do we stand for? How about 'Rescuing America!' Stopping the little tyrant is job one and a powerful platform indeed.

2. At this point, whatever social / global agenda we'd like to advance
we must first stop the enemy within.

4. Well then, let's see the Dem leadership make that case.
The problem isn't that the Democras don't stand for anything--it's that they don't declare what they stand for AND FIGHT FOR IT TOOTH AND NAIL as a unified party.

Until they do that, the perception will remain that they don't stand for anything.

5. True. I'm just saying it'll take all the strength and focus we can muster
to undo the catastrophic mess left behind by Bush. Let's make that promise to America.

7. Pretty Much My Opinion Too
I've been telling people for two years, when i hear the "You are just against anything Bush does!" "Well, yeah! I don't trust them! The facts are proving they've been wrong about almost everything. Of course i'm against anything he does."

Same sentiment. Just different terminology.
