A scary, scary thought regarding what happens if the dems take over
Remember, BushCo has sold much of our military assests to Dubai. The Bush family is in bed with the powers that control the middle east. Cheney said that if John Kerry was elected, "America would be attacked." Not "MIGHT BE," Cheney said American WOULD be attacked. The BFEE has long been deeper in bed with their Middle Eastern buddies than with even American corporations.

I will bet you anything you'd like to wager that America will be attacked again when the democrats take over, and BushCo will point to the attacks as PROOF that the democrats are unable to defend America. I'm happy as a pig in shit that W is getting hammered in the polls. But I don't think for a moment these guys will go quietly, and I don't think they're just sitting idly by going "Oh, gosh! What will we do, what will do?" They're planning and they've got the aparatus in place to fuck us all over like we've never been fucked over before. Nancy Pelosi running the Congress doesn't exactly inspire me...not when she'll be up against the evil that is the modern GOP.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. I know we need to take the little victories while we can get them. But don't get used to it. The more we "win" the more I fear we're being set up for even bigger revenge attack from this most corrupt regime in American history.

2. Even if Buscho points to their own attacks as proof
they have to live with a Dem congress for two more years.

I'm more concerned they'll just say "screw it" and implement martial law after the election on some hastily-constructed pretext. And watch for Dems to go along like sheep to slaughter.

4. That's freaky.. I just had a similar thought about 5 minutes ago
Just because Bush may be gone doesn't mean he can't still ask his Saudi friends for a big favor.

5. Oversight begins immediately and we do not ratify any deals
in 2008, the new DEMOCRATIC President
can kill any deal Bush agreed to like Bush pulling away from Kyoto, nuclear non proliferation.

7. Kyoto is the least of my concerns about BushCo
That kind of stuff is obvious and expected. I'm more worried about what they've already done. The spy agencies in place that will not just be overturned by democrats. We don't/won't even know what they've got and where've they've got it. And the military suppliers Bush sold to Dubai...that isn't going away. Lots and lots of very bad shit went down under Bush, and it will be waiting beneath the surface ready to be called into action at the BFEE's bidding.

6. Heard on AAR news today that some American engineering
firm has been sold to Dubai while we were sleeping. How many of our assets are in the hands of Middle Eastern sheiks. Does anyone know?

If the Democrats take over, it may take military action to nationalize these assets or force them off the continent.

8. It wasn't an engineering firm...it was a major military parts supplier
Nothing to see here, move along. The ports deal had nothing on the shit BushCo just pulled while we were all jerking off to his lousy poll numbers and scandal du jour.

9. If we win the Congress back...
... we will actually have the power to investigate that shit. * won't be given a pass like he has in the past for letting planes hit buildings and anthrax being mailed around.

10. If the Dems take over
the country will grind to a halt. There's too much crap to investigate. There's 5.5 years of double dealings to go through. Real investigations will destroy Bushco.

12. Wasn't there the same sort of deal when Reagan took over?
Not sure how it went exactly, but the hostages weren't to be released while Carter was president...but once Big Bad Ronnie Ray-guns came to town they couldn't let them go fast enough!
Made him look like a 'strong' president as opposed to Carter's 'weak' one.
