Who were the two Republicans on Larry King last night?
I know Ed Schultz and Randi Rhodes were the two liberals on last night; who were the two Repubs?

(Speaking of which; I wouldn't have done that host's job for a billion dollars; poor guy. :))

3. Dennis Prager - - if that's the way he spells it.

That show reminded me of something about Wingers.

Right-wingers don't care what they say. Don't care if it's true or just made up on the spot.

That Ben kid was just blabbing slogans, but he even managed to drown out Randi Rhodes.I had to fast-forward through him.

The good news about him is that he is WAY to0 impressed with himself, so he might not last forever.

2. How did Randi and Ed do?
I don't watch TV. I'd love to see the excerpts.

4. I only saw parts of the second half...
...and they did pretty well, especially Randi. I hear her name a lot here at DU, but never really followed her much. But I liked her. She was making her point, bringing up facts, and best yet, calling the two Republicans out everytime they lied or made "misleading" statements.

Ed make some powerful points as well, but it really seemed like Randi stole the show for the most part.

7. Here's a link to the transcript:
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0605/12/lkl.01.html

Doesn't really do it justice though, it helps to hear Randi yelling at everyone :D

This was one of my favorite parts:

FERGUSON: Randi, I have friends in Iraq, OK?

RHODES: Listen, you should be in Iraq. You're 22. When I was 22, I was in the military. Why aren't you there?

FERGUSON: I'm 24 years old.

RHODES: Why aren't you there? Then go.

FERGUSON: And just because I support something doesn't mean I have to always go fight.

RHODES: You go. You go. Go ahead. You go and then you come back because you know what happens when we come back?

Ouch!

And also, I thought this was what he said last night, but I wasn't sure. Good thing I caught it in the transcript. The 24 year old Republican-type said: "And just because I support something doesn't mean I have to always go fight." Isn't that a sad commentary?

10. Great stuff

That was precious. I loved it.

Plus the Repuke clowns both thought Dems could block legislation - it shows how ignorant they are about how Congrees works.

13. Did they leave out the best part?
Right after the quote above, Little Ben said, "I support the Yankees, too, but I don't wear their uniform."

Un-effing-believable.

This is what passes for discourse from these clowns.

6. I think they both did great! They kept calling the Bushbots on their lies.
Randi asked Ben, who is 24, why wasn't he fighting in Iraq if he supported it so much! That was the highlight for me!

to see liberal-left pundits on the attack, taking the initiative, crushing that pudgy wanker Ben Ferguson.

Best exchange of the night between Randi Rhoses and Denis "the Menace" Prager:

PRAGER: OK. If our government were not doing this it would be exceedingly irresponsible. There are communications between possible terrorists and bases elsewhere and they may be within the United States, the United States abroad, abroad, abroad. I want telephones monitored in that way. They're not monitoring my conversation or yours.

Computers are monitoring a trillion conversations but not even conversations. They're monitoring phone numbers to look for patterns. What is wrong with that? It is such a minuscule price to pay for security.

RHODES: What's your phone number, Dennis?

12. "crushing that pudgy wanker Ben Ferguson"
That was uncalled for. When you call Ben Turdgidson a "pudgy wanker," you insult pudgy wankers everywhere...
