Is Pickles popular?
Listening to NPR this morning, I was treated to the sage wisdom of Cokie the whore. She stated that Laura Bush was "wildly popular". Has anyone seen any polling data that would support this?

3. I think it's wildly "Not Unpopular"

She works to put forth a non-offensive image and is pretty good at it. She has a college education, she has been around government, she worked for sometime, stands to reason she has opinions and would be able to express them if she wanted.

11. I've never heard anyone praise this twit
except the media whores. Why WOULD she be popular? She does absolutely NOTHING.I can't stomach that permanent smile on her face and her putting up with that illiterate husband of hers. If she had a working brain she would have left him years ago,or better yet,she would never have had anything to do with him......period.If she was a "librarian","teacher" or whatever the phuck she claims to be,what the hell was she doing associating with some brainless coke head alcoholic in the first place?I have NO respect for her. When I see her tagging along behind that idiot smiling like she is Mrs. America it makes me want to vomit buckets. :puke: :puke: :puke:

12. She is pretty much a generic, gravel voiced, chain smoking,
multi-lifted Stepford wife. completely vacuous - hard for someone that is so vacant to be extremely anything. Popular? Wishful thinking, talking head spin, you name it. She reminds me of those distant aunts who come up to give you a lipstick laden kiss and make you scurry for cover!

16. Cokie Roberts
I despise Cokie Roberts almost as much as Laura Bush, so if you are ranking popularity that way, I'd say they are equally popular.

Cokie makes me chokie. I have to turn off NPR when they bring her self-important, elitist ass on.

21. People don't know anything about her
So there's little to dislike.

I'll bet if people even realized she's a chain smoker her numbers would sink.

And if they knew anything else about her, she'd sink even further.

All people know is she just looks like somebody who'd buy Girl Scout Cookies from your kid.

22. She's got the same "popularity" that any silent person has.
As long as a person keeps his or her mouth closed, other people tend to assume that that person is like themselves. The more she speaks, the less she will be liked.

It's particularly true in Laura Bush's case, since people who hate her husband will be prepared to hate her as well, and people who love her husband aren't generally fond of women who speak.
