1. Be Happy!
Be happy that you weren't sucked inexorably in as your body was being dissolved and your soul devoured.

2. "I am the Dark Overlord of the Universe."
Oh, wait. That's the wrong movie.

Still applies.

4. A moment of kindness like that in a dream.
When translated, that is the lyric of one of the songs^ I'm listening to now. Made an interesting juxtaposition.

More seriously, how can you see what is not there?

^ Yes, I listen to two songs simultaneously through the one set of headphones. Meh.

7. It's actually quite interesting to copy Condi's or Cheney's grimace.
Try it for yourself in front of a mirror and notice how it makes you feel inside! But don't try it for too long. It's the yoga of the devil himself. Now imagine what it would do to your soul if you wear these grimaces all day long, voluntarily. This is what we're confronted with, it's the cold, ruthless breath of death.

8. These people make Harry Potter's dementors
look positively cheerful and compassionate. Normally, I don't judge people by their looks. For these people, it's not their features that are twisted and hateful, it's the distortion of their features as they reveal what passes as their souls. I don't think they still have souls. I think they have dark hatred, twisted thinking, and an absolute conviction that they and their cronies are the only ones who count.

We are merely the slaves, the workers who toil to create wealth, for example, which they immediately confiscate for themselves. We provide fodder for their endless wars, and suckers who will let their own blind prejudices propel them to the voting booths. For awhile, I thought that the most important thing was to vote them out of office. I now believe that once they are voted out, the battle will begin, rather than end.

We must try to rebuild American's reverence for the Constitution, respect for each person, and recognition of the necessity of providing for the elderly, the very young, and the sick or disabled. We should begin to insure that government should provide for the good of all, not the entitlement of an elite few. Looking at the contortions on the faces of Bush, Cheney, and Rice, tell us that these are not people who should have anything to do with power.

9. These people and their followers are beyond political discourse
You want to reach them by brilliant arguments and by reason? Forget it! Look into their faces again. These are not reasonable human beings. Yes it's scary, but we have to realize this. The only way to get rid of them and their underlings is an army of lawyers and judges. Voting them out? Forget it. They'd just organize themselves again and bite back even harder after a while.
