How about a presidential election by hand count?
No machines, no paper ballots, nothing but raised hands.

Try this for an idea. On the first weekend in November, people go to the polls at their leisure and vote for president by raising their hands. Representatives of all parties would be doing the counting and wide lens cameras would capture the vote to settle discrepancies.

All cameras would be owned, installed and maintained by the U.N.

The count would take a long time, but so what?

Yeah, I know it's a crazy idea that would be very hard to implement. And it would have as much chance as happening as pigs have of flying. But if we could make this, or something like it happen, we'd know we had a legitimate president.

7. Are you going to film everyone one by one?
If you're doing it in groups, forget it...you know how easy it would be to add hands through the magic of modern technology?

4. I'm afraid this time we will have to turn out in numbers too many
to discount. Then get the voting situation under control. as our system now stands we will have to show up in hugh numbers me thinks.
Paper ballots hand counted is my idea of a fair election but thats only my opinion and we all have 'em. Just so it is fair and above board I will go along with it.
peace

6. By law we're entitled to a secret ballot.
If people are watching who we vote for, that gets rid of the secrecy

8. I'd be willing to (temporarily) trade a secret ballot for a fair election.
