Poll question: Have our Dem leaders become the same as Repubs?

By that I mean politicians who work for the wealthy while ignoring all the rest of us..

if democrats controlled the senate, the house and the Presidency? We'd be in Iraq, we'd have Alito and Roberts on the bench, the government sitting on its ass watching Katrina, etc even if Gore was sitting in the Whitehouse dealing with a democratic controlled house and senate? I don't.

with little exception they act like politicians.
The major difference I see is who they pander to.

don't get me wrong... there are exceptions and there are politicians who really are working for "the people"... but the vast majority of them are shameless whores who should be chased into the countryside with pitchforks and torches.

But then afterward, I hope to be active in supporting primary candidates that will act to create, recreate or increase consumer protections or environmental protections or legal protections (against corporations) or civil liberty protections.
