4. Terrible question.
"Sufficient" for what? Concluding that apes and humans evolved from a common ancestor?

5. Evolution's got the lead because...
...those who don't believe geological and genetic evidence must similarly reject electromagnetic theory...and therefore not believe that computers work. They don't get sampled.

22% ignert is less than I feared.

On edit: Do you suppose the freepers haven't attacked it because they don't know what hominid means? Or maybe, they think it means homosexual.

6. those polls are not scientific, sorry
real polls show that Americans are very misguided on that issue

http://www.religioustolerance.org/ev_publi.htm

creationism : 44%
ID : 39%
Evolution : 10%

you get the answer you get at MSNBC because "evolutionists" are more keen to answer an internet poll than average Americans.

20. Only 10% accept the scientific validity of the theory of evolution?
I don't think I want to live in this civilization any more. :(

22. That poll was biased because
the question takers asked a large amount of un-recanted Wotanists their opinions and substituted God for Wotan, who did create the earth, heavens and seas form the blood, skin and flesh of Thyrm the might Frost Giant!

WOTANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

The College Grads give some hope because at least 70% agreed that the process took millions of years (even if a majority said God started the whole thing).

8. the evidence is patchy in my opinion

The first discovery of an early hominid species in Africa was by Raymond Dart, pictured at left, who found this well preserved skull of a juvenile in South Africa in 1924. His discovery led to an intense focus on Africa as the probable site of human origins and early development, as Charles Darwin had earlier predicted.

(I knew Dart's brother who lived in Chicago later in his life and his brother was a creationist!)

9. Hominid evolution
All logic points to Darwin's theory of evolution with which i
agree. (possible exception being Pres. Bush he has very piggy
eyes)

15. The poll is not proper
Edited on Wed May-17-06 07:18 PM by zeemike
It states "I think there is sufficient evidence?"
And then it states; "I don't accept the evidence"
But no where is "I don't think there is sufficient evidence"
