1. They don't regret using white phosphorous, they don't regret
condoning torture, they don't regret abu ghraib, they don't regret using napalm in Basra, they don't regret the fecking birth defects the Iraqi children are being born with, they don't regret the tens of thousands of civilians killed, the wedding parties bombed, the children with the missing limbs, mothers and fathers, the bombed out Mosques, the filthy water, the lack of electricity, the sickness, unemployment, Paul Bremers 100 economic rules, and the frigging illegality of the entire gd mess. Other than that they covered it pretty well.

15. like your tag line - relates to Bell's Theorem no?
Never quite smart enough to get it. I think I do at time but I suspect I'm missing something subtle.

2. The thing he regrets are some words he spoke. Not actions that
he took/encouraged that just boloxed things up even worse.

Why wasn't the biggest mistake that was made that they expected flowers and candy?

Or the WMD debacle?

Or any of a number of things that actually really mattered.

He proves again that he doesn't get it.

And he blames Abu Ghraib on the country...no individual is at fault, evidently.

6. Absolutely right -- I just posted this in another thread
It's what he SAID that he feels was a mistake, not what he DID.

He still thinks he did nothing wrong and his s***t doesn't stink.

10. He tried real hard to sound humble, too. The idiots will think that
proves how wonderful he is.

David Gregory just said the same thing...that Bush's critics will say that his biggest mistake wasn't just words.

11. Everyone had a problem understanding what he said
What with the way he butchered the English Language, and his murderous lies. So he now, suddenly remembers a mistake. How about that for admitting fault!

13. Those idiot PHRASES are what endeared him to his wingnut/rednecks
So what do THEY have left?---since he's backing off? He has already thrown TRUE Conservatives over the side with his drunken-sailor-spending. What do his 29 percenters have LEFT?

14. So, the Decider is deciding that that decision sucked?
I think he's deciding to artificially tack on a few extra points to his plummeting poll numbers.

decided.."Bring It On" shouldn't have been said but did he regret all the Soldiers who lost their lives because his tiny brain blurted out BRING IT ON?
