Body Found in George Bush Park
HOUSTON -- The body of a man was found Friday afternoon near the area where searchers have been looking for a missing University of Houston student, officials told KPRC Local 2.

Nate Hendrickson's green Nissan Sentra was found at West Oaks Mall on Highway 6 at Westheimer on Saturday. The vehicle had parking tickets dating back to Dec. 1, which was the day after Hendrickson disappeared. Hendrickson, 24, was last seen working on his computer at his family's Spring Valley home on Nov. 30.

Investigators said the body, which has not yet been identified, was found seated in a peaceful area near a brook in George Bush Park. He apparently had taken his own life with a single gunshot. A backpack was next to the body.

3. Only one?
I'd have thought by now there would be several.
Such a tragedy for his family.
Wonder if he was on pharma cartel issued
drugs for depression...if so, we'll never hear it
and the family will not be able to seek damages
or accountability from the pharma drug cartel.

5. Well, it wasn't a very "peaceful area" for Mr. Hendrickson, was it?
Bizarre irony. Do these journalists ever read their copy before submitting it?
