Wife Killer Will Stop Selling Murder Memorabilia

POSTED: 6:11 pm EDT June 17, 2006

SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah prison officials say wife-killer Mark Hacking has agreed to stop hawking autographs and other memorabilia.

He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and is serving a sentence of six years to life for killing his wife, Lori, in 2004.

Prosecutors say Hacking killed her because she'd discovered his extensive lies, such as claiming that he'd been accepted to medical school.

A seller on the Internet advertised items signed by Hacking, including a hand tracing, a prison visitor's form and two canteen invoice forms.
