4. It's Monday! They only work???? half a day or less!
I don't think the auto raise passed yet either. They were talking about it on WJ this AM. They said something about, if the Senate does nothing, the auto raise will take effect. They also said it could be a very bad move for them to do right now! Congress' approval ratings are lower than they have ever been, and it will only farther aggrivate people to hear they gave themselves a raise!

5. They had to get rested up for their vacation...
My dead dog works harder than the politicians in DC. I'm glad the founding fathers were not that lazy!

6. Isn't that gov't continuity thing starting today, beware ....
the MSM set on scaring people with the threat of a nuke from North Korea, pictures of black clad ops on their websites declaring, "states not ready for disasters".....thousands of people doing "drills" starting today to keep the gov't running in case of an attack.
