7. Ever see the movie: THE SIEGE (Denzel-Bening-Willis)

Slow night, felt like a movie and this was pretty much the only thing lying around I'd not seen before. Now, not saying this is Masterpiece Theater, and never been a fan of Mc-action star Willis, but this movie made in 1998 seems incredibly prescient.

"Terrorist" sleeper cells financed and then manipulated and by our own CIA in the MidEast and then in the US, an illegal kidnapping of Muslim clerics by the Pentagon and standardized torture sanctioned by the same, and then all of this gone awry with a major bombing of Federal Plaza NYC.

Seeing the twin towers in background shots is eerie and makes you go Hmmmmm.

Right, I guess you are supposed to believe that while screenwriters/movie production folks were onto this and got it so damn close, I can hear Condi Rice saying they had no way of knowing and the professional intelligence community just sorta missed it. Hmmmmm.
