He is a right winger (I guess) he seems to dislike Bush.

Who is famous for writing about the Boston Mob and MA politics.

I'll admit that he can be humorous - when he isn't being homophobic or anti Teddy K. However, His knowledge about the Boston mob is unsurpassed. I started listening to him after I read his book on the subject. It was interesting to me because I grew up in South Boston.

He is fat and bombastic and and rightie but his show can be entertaining. Especially when his listeners call in and call him a fat bastard "to his face".

I have no idea what is entertaining or humorous about his show - he's a hack who gets his jollies by putting people down - not funny.

My uncle was whacked in Charlestown in the late 1970's. His book is the only one to mention it.

7. I'm sorry to hear that. I read Black Mass which I thought was

pretty good. I just can't stand Howie's cruelty so I wouldn't buy his book, read his newspaper column nor listen to his radio show. I come to this conclusion after years of listening to him during drive time, I just can't tolerate his idiocy anymore.
