And what do my wondering eyes encounter? A poll asking if "Ann Coulter has gone to far?" I clicked on the link and was directed to Newsmax. I decided to give my opinion of the bitch. When I finished the poll, I was invited to buy her book for just $4.99.

They are everywhere I tell you. I thought Weather Underground was non-partisan. Oh well, good night, liberal warriors.

jeff masters' posts after katrina were highly critical of bush, and he posted a pretty well-thought out piece on the need for publically-financed elections....i assume that the advertising for the bitch's book is standard internet marketing that thousands of non-political websites engage in...plus, $4.99 is kind of an insult to the author! you can't hardly buy a comic book for that

...and the publisher sold a big lot to NewsMax at a discount, but not at a loss, LOL. NewsMax is engaging in book plumping-- buying large lots to help sell out the initial printing, making the book a "bestseller." Then they dump them like cheap toasters for new bank accounts.

I didn't realize what a bargain could be had. If I wanted her book, I sure wouldn't buy it off Amazon. I couldn't even buy a paperback @ Walmart for that price.

It's a good site to get weather information. I've never seen a newly published hardback selling for $4.99 before. I think Ann has earned the title of "America's Leading Loss Leader"

3. When you run a website that accepts paid ads...

...and that is how you make your money, you cannot be picky-choosy. That is why I have never done more than experiment with it on White Rose.

If you find an ad on my site, it is either one I placed there because I believe in the product and get a percentage, or it is a free ad for a good friend or a worthy cause.

I have the ads turned off, so I don't know myself. I just know I saw them before I turned them off, this being one of the reasons I did so.

Google ads, and others based on the same idea, simply use keywords. With all the people here obsessing over this individual (note I do not ever use her name in a post) it's just going to happen.

I don't know weatherunderground's ad strategy, but they don't really control it whatever it is.

and now I have. I just checked Amazon to see how much her book is going for used. Lowest price is $13.35. Quite a business opportunity for an enterprising freeper. Buy up those books @$4.99 on Newsmax and resell on Amazon for $13.35. Each book would have a profit $8.36. Sell 10,000 books and you're $83,600 richer. Only question is--who would buy them when there are much cheaper copies available?
