I ask this as a facetious question. We stay in Iraq to guard the contractors who are in Iraq to build bases and giant embassies. Any and all talk of pulling troops out by the admin is just talk. This war is their main vehicle for robbing the treasury and giving it to certain 'contributors'.
Great deal of talk today about pulling out troops, but they will never come out as long as the contractors are there, and the contractors will be there for a loooooooong time. The troops are only there to guard the contractors who are stealing us and the Iraqis blind.

2. I hope not
The Iraqi people know how to build things. We need to sue Halliburton for their ill gotten gains and give the money to the Iraqi people for compensation.

3. No. Halliburton is the reason the troops are there.

If Halliburton had to provide their own security it would cut into their profit margin so severely that it wouldn't be profitable to rape and rob the whole Middle East. The Pentagon provides them with a cheap and expendable security umbrella and Uncle Dick gets a lion's share of the take. A very cozy arrangement for those at the top but certainly not for the troops on the ground.
