I just HATE HATE HATE Clarence Thomas...Every time I
turn around and read a SCOTUS decision, this sick bastard is always stealing elections, executing retarded children, and supporting other "wonderful" republican family values.

If he ever gets mowed down by a bus crossing the street, I'm serious, party is at my place.

2. He's so into what's going on at the SCOTUS, half the time he acts like
he's sleeping. I keep waiting for the chair he's sitting in to tip over, because he leans so far back in it. Bet THAT would wake him up!

a person who had/has absolutely no business sitting on the Supreme Court, it is uncle thomas. He must have been the first or only African-American somebody in george I's administration could think of. And to think who he replaced is an insult to the life and work of Thurgood Marshall.

6. Thomas is in so far over his head, he can't breathe

I agree with you 100% -- there has never, ever been a man LESS deserving of a seat on the high court. He is one of Bush 1's "Little brown ones." Poppy is as cynical as the best of us, and he knew that putting a black man on the court would score him points. He considered NOTHING beyond that.

5. But Poppy said he was the most qualified jurist available!?
I am offended that you would question the credentials of Fat Tony Scalias's favorite lawn jockey. (And I've been busted on before for the "lawn jockey" reference. The only apology I might feel required to offer would be to thousands of hand-painted statues. Clarence Thomas can kiss my happy ass.)

8. And you're going to get busted on again
What, exactly, is the value added to your opinions by pairing them up humiliating racial epithets? It makes your whole opinion sound ignorant or worse.

Peace.

9. I still remember that jackass at his confirmation hearings
He had just returned to the Senate chamber after the testimony of (what's her name?). I watched her testimony and thought it was compelling. She came across as completely honest. Later David Brock wrote a book slandering her that became the right wing talking points guide as they continued to slander her. Later, Brock admitted that he had been a paid liar, and that the book was a crock of sh*t.
Anyway, the first Senator was about to ask Thomas about the charges that were being leveled against him, when he asked Thomas something like, "Did you listen to her testimony?"
"No", replied Thomas. "Why not?", asked the Senator. "Because I didn't want to listen to any more lies", replied Thomas.

I always wondered why nobody questioned him at that moment about his penchant for making decisions and ignoring testimony that might conflict with the decision he had already made.

10. I'm surprised he even shows up for hearings considering his mind is
made up before he reads anything about the case or listens to the lawyers.

In any other jurisdiction, he'd probably be disbarred
