So let me get this straight: when Kerry and Feingold propose
all US. troops out of Iraq by July, 2007 it's "cutting and running." But when the NY Times reports that General Casey has a plan to halve the number of U.S. combat troops and support troops by December, 2007 it's "strategic planning"?

Why, or why, isn't the MSM all over this like flies on the proverbial . . .?

4. And they wonder why we question the MSM's bona fides?

Seriously, this is the question(s) any self-respecting -- not many of those left, I think -- journalist should be asking * and his Repuke cronies:

"Sir (of if Kindasleezy, "Madam Secretary") on Thursday, you characterized Senator Kerry's and Senator Feingold's proposed amendment to the Defense Supplemental Appropriations bill that would require the withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Iraq by July, 2007 as "cutting and running." Yesterday, we learned from the NY Times that General Casey, the general in command of all forces in Iraq has a secret plan to begin a phased withdrawal of U.S. forces such that fewer than 1/2 the current troop level would remain in Iraq by December of 2007."

Can you tell me, sir, why Kerry and Feingold's amendment was "cutting and running" but General Casey's secret plan is considered "strategic planning"?

Can you tell me, sir, why you're so full of shit your breath stinks?"

2. Because the MSM is intimately tied to the MIC
The Mainstream Media is not liberal, far from it. It is actually closely tied to the Military-Industrial Complex.

6. They're so full of shit their breath stinks, I'd say.
On a positive note, the fact that the Pentagon is now secretly planning to Iraqize the war (a la Nixon's "Vietnamization" strategy, post-69) is a sign that the killing and mayhem may be over fairly soon.

I wonder who the first Democratic leader will be who says, "We've lost in Iraq." Gives new meaning to the "L-word."

7. And when a big-time lord high muckity-muck in the occupied government
asks for a timetable for the occupation force to leave, that's "a request to stay forever" . . .
