Freepers Are Threatening To Murder NYT Reporters And Publishers
Is this illegal? It sure is disgusting. The wingnuts are getting so worked up over this that someone's going to get hurt. I hope certain Times reporters and Sultzburger have body guards. Even if you think the NYT is a corporate whatever, it's time to stand with them against this shit.

Kill someone for telling the truth, rather than turn your anger on the one who's been telling deadly lies. Freepers are some sick mofos.

23. Not only are Freepers advocating premeditated murder, the owner of the
website is just as responsible, especially since he did not delete the thread (for nearly 4 hours so far):

"Disclaimer: Opinions posted on Free Republic are those of the individual posters and do not necessarily represent the opinion of Free Republic or its management. All materials posted herein are protected by copyright law and the exemption for fair use of copyrighted works." - If he copyrights it, he is responsible for the contents. Putz! :eyes:

Diogenesi initiated the calls for premeditated murder with this quote: "President Washington: "I want Bill Keller. I'll hang that traitor if it's the last thing I do on God's earth.""

by makoman: "I can only hope I get to see the video of Sulzberger's beheading!"

by Lazamataz: "If the government won't act, perhaps some private citizens will. Nice and direct and personal-like"

by Lazamataz: "Tar, feathers? You are the very definition of the term 'restraint'. I was thinking more along the lines of the Muslim solution."

by pissant: "String em up, right next to Murtha's sad carcass."

by Zechariah1: "Any retired snipers out there?"

by danmar: "Find the leaker and hang him/her!"

by Don Carlos: "PS. Find the leaker and hang him/her!"

Btw, I only go to that website when I need to make a hardcopy of freepers advcating murder/breaking the law. This will backfire on them.

"To: pissant

I've been reading a book about Nazi Germany. It's funny how things don't change. Back in the 30's, after making a provocative move, Hitler would immediately call in the western press (namely the Times of London, the New York Times, and whatever the big paper in France is). Anyway, he would hold conference with them and just wax on and on about his love of peace and his distaste for war. Naturally, those publications drank this B.S. up went home and published it for an ignorant world to read. These big papers were efectively tying the hands of the west by rallying public sentiment against responding to Germany's provocations. Hitler used to sit back and laugh at how easy it was to manipulate the free press into doing his bidding. Do the Editors of our large news organizations realize that they are once again being used like whores?"

Let's see the comparisons, shall we?

Call the western press? Check.

Love for peace and distaste for war? Check.

Publications "eating this bullshit up"? Check. (and that one is ESPECIALLY if we count Fox News, which in the last six years, has proven to be nothing more than a mouth piece for the White House and Satan's spawn)

Rallying public sentiment? Check.

Sitting and laughing about how easy it is to manipulate the press? Checkity check check!

Oh and let's not forget to mention that the Bush family once had ties to the Nazi party.

At Crooks & Liars.com. Is there anything more ignorant than a FReeper? Don't you think they would have evolved by now in the Earth's rich 6,000 year history? What do you expect from a crew whose two most trusted scientists are Ann Coulter (creationism) and Rush "I attended college for three weeks" Limbaugh (global warming)? They don't know or care about processes and protections and rights, Constitutional or otherwise. They just demand validation for their simple views, acceptance of them by all, and they are very frightened right now. So they lash out, and Bush/Cheney/Rove pull the strings.

Those who don't hit the mute button during Progressive Insurance ads, loudest ever.

Those who believe Barry Bonds got really big because of good nutrition.

Those who think Kevin Costner is one of our finest actors.

Those who are torn between Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life" and Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic as the greatest song of all time.

It is okay to spend more money investigating Clinton's sex life than the 9/11 attacks.

It is okay for KKKarl to out a CIA agent.

BUT it is NOT okay for a newspaper to report what the administration of the country is doing.

In my lifetime, I would only place Reagan higher than Cheney. Please do something about this Mr. Vice President. Rheoric followed by inaction only fuels their fire.

Well, as awful as this is, it's hard to get worked up about something the NYT doesn't itself seem to get too worked up about.

Why don't they print this S**t? Why don't they expose the hatred of the wingnut blogosphere? Every time anybody in the press gets a few e-mails from liberals questioning their use of Bush talking points as "news," they run articles screeching about crazy, mean liberals.

So, why not cover this? Why not make a feature story about the bizarre hatred pulsing on right-wing blogs?

Or do the rules only apply to leftist blogs?

I know, stupid question.

death.

When they published on-line the names of people who attended an anti-war rally, Michael Berg (the boy's father) was linked to Nick Berg by listing his profession: manager in his son's cell-phone company.

CIA in Iraq held Nick Berg for six weeks without charge because he was somehow connected to this anti-war protest thanks to FReeper information. In reality, he was a gung-ho Bush-backer and supported the whole nine yards.

When the CIA finally let him go following his father's "habeas corpus" lawsuit, the situation in Iraq had deteriorated (think, Abu Ghraib) so badly that any American was in mortal peril.

Nice going, FReeptards! You cut off your nose to spite your face.

On edit--the thing is they're so fucking stupid, they probably don't even know that Nick Berg was on their side.

Fucking idiots.
