Cable Ratings Down? When will the M$M Get it? When Bushies have
stopped putting "wads of bills" in their back pockets. There's not much families seeking news can deal with out there today.

Or maybe I'm weird and should be watching the "Food Channel" or those cuties who are "trading condo's and homes" on "HDTV."

Maybe I'm just not "clued in" and should rip out my "Time-Warner" Home Cable. I certainly don't want to pay more to watch it in "Digital" so I'm already seeming like a "curmudgeon."

I know many DU'ers gave up their Cable long ago. But for those of us still subscribing ...who also listen to AAR and stuff what can we do? We've written letters and "De-Freeped polls" for the Cables hoping they would realize that a huge segment of their viewing/paying public is VERY UNHAPPY, but still they put folks like Dan Abrams in charge of programming for MSNBC and Katie Couric the Anchor for CBS News.

It's getting very tiresome that their RATINGS are down but they still "Force Feed Us Right Wing/Bush Propaganda." When will they learn? And will they learn even though the Bushies are paying them with favorable legislation and money in the "back pocket" to individual "stars" who promote their message?

1. "News" is not a business. They make their money elsewhere -
"news" is subsidized propaganda. They got rid of Donahue - he was the highest rated MSGOP show at the time. Same thing with Crossfire, They know what the public wants but are not allowed to give it to us. NY Post, Moonie Times - money losers - subsidized for propaganda (more, I am sure, but I've seen evidence for these two). Their purpose - keep us in the fog.

2. But, they've gone "DOWN" in ratings since Donahue was thrown out...

and that's WAYYYY BACK. I can't remember a time when Programming was given to an "Unknown, Lawyer" to decide like MSNBC gave it to Dan Abrams. Was it because his "Pop" is a BIG TIME DC LAWYER? Did Dan get the job on his own or through "INFLUENCE." I'd say it was because "Poppy Floyd" did a few "Phone Calls" promoting his "hack son who couldn't only do shows on murder and rape and sensationalistm.

Dan Abrams in charge of programming at MSNBC? Sort of like "Debbie does Dallas" or "phone numbers scrawled on bathroom walls in rest stops."
