"Fiddling while Rome burned."
Does anyone else think that "Joking about roast pig while World War Three started" will enter the poplular lexicon alongside the above?

1. It just shows what kind of President we have
Whats sad is people voted for this guy. He has no clue what to do in any crisis. Look at 911 or Katrina or even the Iraq war.

3. Does the word "oblivious" strike a chord with you? Does for me.
Reagan was SENILE, for God's sake, and HE was more connected with reality than bushyboy is.

9. Feel free to spread it around. The "pig obsession" should seal the
debate for anyone.

Did you see the video on crooksandliars.com? I have NEVER been more ashamed to be an American.

13. I did that in another thread. Maybe you should start a thread
with the link?

And ask your DU friends to do so tomorrow, and the next day, and so on?

This is something that EVERYONE should see. "Fiddling while Rome Burned" is a perfect description, isn't it?

15. My threads aren't getting much response tonight other than some
sarcastic posters wanting attention. You may have better luck.

17. Not tonight, I'm afraid. Running out of gas here. The Vikes are finally
going to work. Some sleep, and I may be able to walk tomorrow.

Thanks for the conversation.

5. proof positive that bush is not a leader . . .
he doesn't have a clue what to do.

On 9/11 he stayed put -- looking stupid and reading a child's story.

Before, during and after Hurricane Katrina he partied -- ate cake -- acted stupid.

Now WWW V is breaking out -- and it can be stopped NOW by a real leader -- which bush is proving again that he is not (a leader).

O.k. I'm singing to the choir -- but sometimes doing that bit helps getting it on the record for future generations that many of us knew that bush was the absolute worst thing to happen to the world back In September 2000 when the Supremes appointed (anointed) him Prez.
