If Chaos vs Order equals the crux of 'Liberal vs Conservative'
then why is it that so much of the world is in chaos as a result
of conservative, Christian conservative, Neo Conservative End Times
politics?

3. Just me I guess. I see order, Law and Order
the elimination of chance in life as a deeper need for the conservative mind.
Why leave elections to chance? Why not fix them?
Why leave my food and shelter issues divided amongst the tribe?
Why not amass all the wealth and let the rest figure it out on their own?

To me a liberal mind accepts, even needs some uncertainty to find meaning
in life. A conservative needs security above all else as I see it. The specter
of looming chaos is ever present in their mind and rules via fear their core values.

So to be honest. i just pulled it out of my hat.

4. The entire project of civilization
is the eliminiation of chance. What about medical advancements? What are we leaving to uncertainty there? The liberal mind accepts, and even needs uncertainty? Then why try to eliminate poverty(by using the systems which create it)? Why try and give everyone everything? The fact that states exist, which are used by both liberals and conservatives, shows that everyone wants security. It's also the reason we have war, or at least large scale war, because no state ever just showed up the way they look today. They expand, and continue to expand, until they meet up with another expanding state. Today, in our uni-polar world, the US state is expanding globally(as it has been since it began). We may not go to war with Iran tomorrow(or we might), but it'll happen eventually, under either a Republican or Democrat.

5. Art depends on creativity and creativity depends
on uncertainty. Life is not about a quest for security alone. It must also have meaning.

7. Because denying "chance in life" is impossible and insane?
"........the elimination of chance in life as a deeper need for the conservative mind."

Maybe liberals can relax with the FACT that change happens, chance happens and trying to totally CONTROL reality (like making it up and projecting it on a nation and a planet) is impossible and, ultimately, insane.

:hi:
