Refugees Speak of Catastrophic Bombing

Lebanon-Syria Border - Refugees fleeing Beirut in the face of Israeli air attacks are speaking of "haphazard bombings" and a crisis situation developing in the city.

Israeli warplanes bombed the suburbs of Beirut overnight, killing three people and wounding 55, according to Lebanese police. Residents reported at least four Israeli missile strikes early Friday morning. The Lebanese military responded with anti-aircraft fire.

"I was in an area south of Beirut which was bombed heavily by the Israelis," 55-year-old electrician Ali Suleiman told IPS. "There were so many refugees in shelters near us, which was near an old hospital which the Israelis bombed last night. It was terrifying at night when they attacked our area."

Suleiman said he saw Israeli warplanes bomb a bridge, and that two of the main bridges which lead to southern Lebanon were destroyed.

"Both Syrian and Lebanese people are leaving now," he said. "There is no more food, not even bread. There was no electricity or water in our area. If this situation continues, it will be a giant catastrophe."

1. Just like when they bombed the electrical plant, they are intentionally
creating a humanitarian crisis.

Look at the history of the I/P conflict, they have always gone for maximum damage. They have never had any problems with bulldozing down complete villages because of one incident.

And just think, every bomb they drop on an civilian populace is made here in America.

4. I am sure they are proud
They can bomb people into the stone age with the best of them. Just like us.

For all of the Israeli apologists out there- please do tell us- what is the military goal of bombing suburbs? All I can see is a "tit for tat" mentality here- Hizbolla rockets our towns, we bomb Lebanese towns, even if they have no military targets. Seems like a war policy thought out by 3 year olds.

5. And when a suicide bomber kills civilians on a bus going to market,

there will be NO article like this. Arab blood = priceless. Jewish blood = worthless (just like the past 3000 years).

In 1938, Canada was asked how many Jewish refugees escaping the Holocaust they would take. Canada's response: "None is too many."

I have no sympathy. Stop killing Jews and maybe I'll care. But Jews are worthless in the world's eyes. Always have been, always will be.
