17. Oscar was wrong on that one
A good half of the GOP is made up of irredeemably evil people. The other half are clueless and/or stupid and/or so greedy they don't care about truth or the common good.

4. We should organize a trip to Iran to enjoy the wonderful people there.
That and Syria. I know they can't be all that bad.

5. I Know, I've Wanted to Visit Iran for Years
Have known a number of Iranians, including a roomate.

It would have been fine before Bush took office, but now it's probably off-limits for decades. Jackass.

6. Fox News?
I was just impressed that the guy on Fox News (Juan something) called him out on his warmongering:

"Well, it just seems to me that you want…you just want war, war, war, and you want us in more war. You wanted us in Iraq. Now you want us in Iran. Now you want us to get into the Middle East, where I think there’s a real interesting dynamic at play. I think it’s psychological on the part of Israel and many of its supporters, and I’ll throw you in here. Somehow you see Israel as weak, and you see Ehud Olmert as weak . . . . And the defense minister as weak. Everybody is weak in the aftermath of Sharon, and so everybody has to prove what a man they are in the Middle East, including — you’re saying, why doesn’t the United States take this hard, unforgiving line? Well, the hard and unforgiving line has been, we don’t talk to anybody. We don’t talk to Hamas. We don’t talk to Hezbollah. We’re not going to talk to Iran. Where has it gotten us, Bill?"

seems to have dropped out of sight. Now they don't even bother trying to instill fear in us. We are on to them and it won't work anymore.

11. Juan Williams- a liberal
Sorry, but that had to be Juan Williams, one of Faux News liberal contributors. He's very anti-Bush. You can catch him several nights a week on Brit Hume's show. Not sure, of course, since I didn't see it, but he is the only Juan I know on FoxNews.

15. Love Juan
I love Juan. I know he was an afternoon commentator on NPR, but not sure if he still is.

Do try to catch him on Brit Hume on Faux News. I watch when he is on because he is in the Roundtable segment with Fred Barnes and Morton Kondrake, but does not buckle under to their nonsense. I wish he was on every night, but he is several times a week and also does other commentaries as a guest on other FNC shows.

8. Eagleburger is a former member of the Halliburton board of directors.
In fact, Eagleburger (Secretary of State under Bu$h-1) was recruited to the Halliburton board by then-CEO Dick Cheney. Does Eagleburger think that no one knows of his servitude to the grand-pappy of all war profiteers, Halliburton? In that light, does he expect to be taken seriously? Indeed, how can anyone named Lawrence Eagleburger, who named all three of his sons Lawrence Eagleburger, be taken seriously?

9. Yeah, and CNN is preparing to give us a lot of (pre-screened) stories
from the people caught in the cross-fire. I don't believe you will be seeing any Hesbollah supporters or anti-Israel folks in these. But, I'll wait to hear.

14. Like the end of Being John Malkovitch...
...where John goes through the tunnel that puts you inside John, the recursion resulted in everyone he looked at looking like himself, and every word uttered was "john malkovotch john malknovitch john malkovoitch", likewise the neocon looks into the recursive mirror of Hizbollah-Israel and can say only "Iran iran iran iran iran iran".

I look and can say only "yellow cake aluminum tubes drones of death 16 words yellow cake aluminum tubes drones of death 16 words...".
