Tweety Interprets Bush: "Hezbollah....Stop the Ka..Ka!" MSNBC Hardball

Tweety pronouncing "Hezbollah" as "HisBOOla" says to David Gregory "...is this the President saying to "Hezbollah...Stop the Ka...Ka? (chuckle, chuckle..snort) when we showed that video clip of Bush talking to Tony Blair?" (end quote)

Both Tweety and Gregory went on to discuss how the "Frat Boy/Cowboy" (Matthews terms) talk is nothing different than the world has heard from him and that when Bush was presented with a transcript of his "Blooper" where he says "shit" and talks with his mouth full of food, both Gregory and Tweety said the Administrations spokespersons said Bush just "rolled his eyes" and that there's nothing "new" there about Bush's policies or comments in the past about Kofi Annen or anyone else.

So...it's "chuckles and tee hees" about the Texas Cowboy who has just been expressing what he has all along...and what's all the fuss about anyway?

Meanwhile Tweety talks about Israeli "toughness" in the face of the bombs as MSNBC reporter says that while Israeli restaurants are only half full...most are still jogging, going to the beach and swimming in their pools as if nothing is going on. Tweety says it's the "resiliance of the Israeli people" and Karl (reporter) says the economy of Israel is up 5% this year and these folks are really used to this kind of thing. :eyes: (I think it was NBC's plug for US investors to not pull out of Israeli stocks just because of a few bombings.

I think it's technically H'zbollah, and can be pronounced either as if there is an "e" or an "i" there.

I have less problems with his using the word shit than I do with his boiling the problem down to one simple sentence like that.

and I know there are different spellings here on DU..but I go with the "oldie one" of HizBOHlah.

Maybe a Lebanese/American can correct the pronunciation for us...but Tweety was looking at his "notes" when he said it and the "disconnect" was sort of "in you face."

8. The real story, as always, is that Bush

has nothing substantive to say. He can't speak specifics. He doesn't know facts. He can't speak, like Clinton can, of the history of the Middle East. He doesn't understand the present dynamics.
What has he left? Macho cowboy faux toughness or "pig" comments. He tries to be funny like a third grader. He did the same schtick after Katrina - when he finally got to Louisiana and, while people were dying, made his "hurricane" (getting drunk on them as a college boy) jokes and spoke of "rebuilding Trent Lott's house".
That was another totally inappropriate response to a horrific event.
Without a script, he resorts to snarky comments.
What else can he do?
He's in way over his head.
He is a complete embarrassment. America deserves better than this puffed up brat who never bothers to do his homework.

9. "Big Foot" (Bush's name for her) is collecting her salary after her PR

Campaign Imploded. She's like those Media Stars like Rita Cosby and Ron Reagan (whom we all liked) who are "canned" but still collect their salary until the Cable/Network can devise another "Forum/Show" for them to strut their wares.

Bushies went to kindergarten with "Big Foot." And, he wants to make sure she's happy and contented for the rest of her life and supporting that "son" she's always leaving DC to nurture...
